Celya Bowers was born and raised in a small central Texas town, just south of Waco. Being the youngest of six children, and having strict parents, she started reading at a very early age. The writing bug hit soon after that, and she began creating stories that looked and talked more like she did.
After attending Sam Houston State University, she relocated to Arlington, Texas, just east of Dallas. She currently works at a mortgage company. Her dream destination is to visit the Emerald Isle, so she can finally get a stamp on her passport.
