Born and reared in the Midwest, Beverly Lauderdale graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simpson College. After moving to California, she taught public school and received her Master of Arts in English Literature from Holy Names University. In love with writing since she could hold a pencil, she has published hundreds of articles and short stories. She lives with her husband, Bob, in Martinez, California, where she leads classes in the craft of writing.
