Richard Perry was born in the Bronx and raised in Monticello, New York. He graduated from the City College of New York and holds an MFA from Columbia University. No Other Tale to Tell is his third novel. His second novel, Montgomery’s Children, won the Quality Paperback Books’ “New Voices” Award in 1985. He is the recipient of a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and is three-time winner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts Award for Fiction. He teaches at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and lives Englewood, New Jersey.
