In 1997, Sharon Robinson was named the Director of Educational Programming for Major League Baseball. Currently she serves on the Board of Directors of the Jackie Robinson Foundation. Prior to joining Major League Baseball, Ms. Robinson had a twenty-year career as a nurse-midwife and educator, teaching at such prestigious universities as Yale, Columbia, Howard and Georgetown. She is the author of Jackie’s Nine (Scholastic May 2001), a personal tour guide through the nine heartfelt, hard-won values that helped her father achieve his goals, and Stealing Home is her memoirs about growing-up in the public eye. Still the Storm is her first Indigo novel. She has a son and resides in New York City.
